Philippines: Update on the Delivery of Empty Containers at Mindanao Container Terminal

Dear Valued Customer,
Following our advisory of 03 FEB 2022 on the empty return procedures for Mindanao import shipments, we wish to inform that effective 17 JULY 2023, the delivery of empty containers at Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) located at Tagaloan Misamis Oriental is subject to PREADVISE processing prior proceeding to the terminal. The change is in pursuant to the advisory of MCT.

Please ensure that you or your associates adhere to the following new process when returning empty containers to the container depot.
1- Self-check the last free time date (LFD) indicated on the Delivery Order (DO) at least 1 day before the target return date.
2- If you are returning the container within the free time:
-For delivery of empty container from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Sunday, provide a copy of the Delivery Order to your trucker and proceed to the depot.
-Our team will review and accepts the empty container.
-For delivery of empty container beyond 5:30 PM, using the template referenced below, send an email to Preadvise Team and attach the latest DO copy.
-Our team will review and follow up with you accordingly.
3- If you are returning the container beyond the LFD:
-Secure a copy of the DND invoice from phl.detdem@cma-cgm.com
-Settle the detention invoice through a bank deposit, then proceed to submit the invoice and proof of payment online via our MYCS platform. Tickets submitted beyond the 3:00 PM cut off will be attended to on the following working day.
-For delivery of empty container from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Sunday, provide a copy of the Delivery Order to your trucker and proceed to the depot.
-Our team will review and accepts the empty container.
-For delivery of empty container beyond 5:30 PM, using the template referenced below, send an email to Preadvise Team and attach the latest DO copy.
-Our team will review and follow up with you accordingly.
4- Our DND team will attend to your email from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM only.
5- Delivery of empty container beyond 5:30 PM, ensure to send your pre-advise request on or before 4:00 PM from Monday to Sunday.
